DCE in DC 2025 by the numbers
We had an amazing trip! One that really included as much as possible! Here’s a look at our final number which is quite fitting since there were so many Math teachers on the trip!
Homeward bound!
We are on the bus with our luggage and headed home. Our current ETA is 1:25 AM
Final step count for our last day:
Landed!
Our flight has landed! Will head to baggage to claim our bags soon. Will update again when on the bus headed for the Junior High.
Airport arrival
We have arrived at the airport. our flight appears on time. We will update when through tsa.
Smithsonian Museums.
Our final stop takes us to the remaining Smithsonian Museums. Will post photos of the experiences later when on the way to the airport. It’s been an amazing trip with so many experiences it’s hard to keep track of all that we’ve done. 
Lunch
For lunch today, we let students enjoy the local street vendors. Lots of variety of choices and desserts! The birds approved too. 
African American Museum
Next stop was the African America Smithsonian Museum. This was the view from inside.
Bonus stop!
With our view of the White House blocked, we fit in an extra stop to the beautiful Willard Hotel. Students enjoyed seeing the extravagance!
White House
Next up we went to walk around the White House. Unfortunately access to the sidewalks on the back side of the White House were closed today because the British Prime Minister is in town for a meeting and staying at the Blair House.
