I hope everyone's packing is going well for the trip! The weather is looking great!
A few reminders:
Be sure students know how to use any debit/credit card they will have on the trip. students should bring some cash-Students can purchase bottles of water from our bus driver.
Be sure to be following TSA guidelines when packing luggage, especially with carry on luggage.
First checked bag is free on Southwest! Please talk with students if they should check their bag or if they will be taking it as a carry on bag.
Liquids in carry on luggage needs to be in a ziplock bag and all liquid containers are under 3 oz
Bring a light/waterproof jacket. It is windy in DC and temperatures drop at night when we are at many of the memorials. There is also a chance of light rain at times.
Have good walking shoes!!
Students should have a secure way to keep their money credit/debit card with them.
Discuss a budget for souvenirs!
Remember your chargers and any medications you have to bring along.
Have a small drawstring bag for students to carry items like their coat/sweatshirt, etc with them on the bus during the day....when we leave the hotel, we do not return until the very end of the day.

Finally, remember we leave at 2:30 AM on Sunday Morning from the North Doors!!! Do NOT be late!
