Senate Gallery and Senator Baldwin

Next we moved quickly to use our Senate Gallery passes. The Senate was in session however they did not have a vote planned on anything until later that night so only one Senator was on the floor to keep the Senate official in session. For one brief moment though some of the students were able to see Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer walk through the floor. Again, no phones allowed so no photos. Then while there, our group was summoned down to meet with Senator Baldwin who had a busy day and meeting she needed to get to after our meeting. 

Students got to hear from Senator Baldwin quickly and ask a couple questions before she headed out.
